Our hens just started laying in July, we have 8 hens and average about 4-5 eggs per day and on a normal day we eat 3 eggs. So trying to keep track of the oldest eggs was a bit of an issue, i.e. remembering to date them. I bought this wire egg holder and it is really nice to display my girls hard work on the counter and know that the bottom egg is the one I need to use first! The eggs are so pretty and deserve to be shown off. The wire rack fits under the upper cabinets perfectly. Love it!
