The electric melting pot they sent me is no longer the one in the picture. The new one has a large plastic knob or protuberance tha projects over the bowl, obstructing the spoon. It is also too shallow to get a spoon all the way in, and the sides aren't rounded so many beads' worth of wax can't be scooped at all. Very ill-suited to the task.
