Milkit tubeless tyre sealant works reasonably well in road tubeless tyres. I haven't tried it in mountain or gravel bike tyres because other sealants meet my needs. Milkit sealant has several advantages for road tubeless; firstly, it less viscous than other sealants. Thus the relatively small amount in a road tyre (I used 60mls) flows around quickly and, secondly, and more importantly, it can be used with CO2. Out on the road, I will usually use a CO2 cartridge to inflate a tyre that has gone down after a puncture. Milkit sealant successful blocks small holes (thorns and small flints) but tends to leak for a while if there is a cut of >2mm. It will get me to the end of a long ride with little pressure loss but then I seal the cut with a plug.
