Aluminum Pickguard for Stratocaster

Most of the holes align with a US Strat pickguard, except 3: the 2 by the 5-way require drilling; the 1 by the tone knob has the screw canted. There’s a flat curvature on the left horn (doesn’t match FMIC silhouettes). The S cutout has a widow’s peak (the CNC wasn’t set to pass this). The pickguard still has chatter marks on the edges (totally normal), so I suspect all this is right out of the CNC. Perhaps there was shifting during cutting. I trusted reviews claiming “fits standard US strat” and “precisely cut”, but I shouldn’t have. The pickguard doesn’t show the attention-to-detail that I expect for something branded for a Stratocaster. If your idea of quality is how faithfully a pickguard matches a FMIC part, you may be disappointed. I would say this is for an “S-body” guitar, not “Stratocaster”. I really like the way this turned out. My only issue was that I had to drill the pickup mounting screw holes bigger to fit the screws. But overall pretty happy with this.

Perfection

Precisely cut. Easy to sand and polish to a mirror finish, but good as is for a relic look. I've purchased before and will purchase again.
