I love the color of this bag, and the pattern, but I don’t think the quality is quite up to the same standard as the same bag in green. Showing pics of both to compare. On the white one, you can see that the side seams are exposed, and the beadwork isn’t tight all the way up to the seams as they are on the green one. I worry that with the threads on the white one being exposed they will get dirty, or worse, get caught on something and break. I’m going to be really careful with it. There was an issue with many items in my orders being on back order, this white bag being one of them, and I am wondering if the artists were under pressure to get these done quickly so they could be shipped. Just seems odd that the quality of the green one (that wasn’t backordered) is better. My critique is really for the business side when it comes to transparency regarding item availability and communicating delays. Every piece I got was listed as in stock at time of purchase, but a lot of them were actually out of stock, and this was never reflected in my cart, or communicated to me after purchase. Once things started shipping, I noticed many items had no movement, so I ended up going to the website, and looking up each item that had not been processed. They were now all listed as “pre-order” status. That was not the case when I bought them. When I inquired about this I received a prompt response that provided a general timeline for when the items would be shipped, and that satisfied me. These pieces are ART, and I am happy to patiently wait as they become available, but let people know about the backorder status so they’re not wondering. Especially when im getting multiple marketing emails a day. I believe an automated email notifying of backorder status/delay would go a long way in making your customers feel taken care of.
