220/400W Lightweight Portable Solar Panel Suitcase

The support legs are WAY too short. They do not allow adequate adjustment to focus on the sun in all situations. They are primarily set to capture Sun that is HIGH in the sky. Up here in the North, that becomes a problem in the Winter. There solution was to just find something to prop it up higher if I needed to. WHAT? I know shorter legs saves you a couple of bucks on each build, but that is insane for a portable solar device. They said if that was not good enough I had to pay the shipping back and a 4% restocking fee. I plan on keeping the panels but your support design, quite frankly, sucks. It limits use to what YOU wanted it to be without concern for the end user... and your response fully reflects that. This is a PORTABLE device. There will not always be something available to facilitate your lack of foresight. Seems Renogy is off of my shopping list for the future now.

A bit disappointed. I built my own 400 watt suitcase. It does better giving 322 watts when right next to the Renogy giving 278 watts. The issue is the Renogy are black and get very hot reducing capacity. I still keeping them they are lightweight and nice packaging for what they are. I do wish they had done better at its thermal, not not make it black.

They look like they are solidly built with good hinges, also put out about 20% more power than my existing 400w panel
