Compared to the 48L crates, these are fragile in shipping. The hinges and the plastic holding the hinges in place, cracks and breaks. I have not received a single intact 90 L crate out of ten mailed to me via UPS, but the the nine 48 L crates I have received survived shipping fine. I love the 90 L size, but I wish the hinges and the plastic holding the hinges in place, were more durable--Especially on the open-style long panels. Customer service, however, has been very responsive and helpful.
