I haven't had the chance to use my purchased geopick yet. That said, Estwing was the universal geopick of choice among students and teaching staff when I was an geology student decades ago, and I had always meant to get my own instead of borrowing it! Having finally gotten my own geopick, I have no doubt Estwing will hold up as reliable essential on my upcoming fieldwork.

Light-weight marvel

Although, not the lightest at 22oz, the Estwing Rock Pick feels light and yet meaty enough to crack open rocks to take a peek inside. Great pick.
