Even G2 A

As a longtime Even Realities user, I absolutely love my new G2 glasses! They’ve become an essential part of my everyday life, especially for discreet notifications, the teleprompter when creating content, and Conversate for real-time conversation assistance. I also noticed some nice refinements compared to my original launch pair, including dark gray temple sleeves that now come preinstalled for added comfort! The glasses are lightweight, stylish, and feel just like regular prescription eyewear. Best of all, I love that there are NO cameras, making them much more discreet and privacy-friendly. Easily one of my favorite pieces of everyday technology!

As a university student conversate is super useful during lectures. However, there is limited functionality with the other apps. The glasses would be much more useful with an interface that lets you execute commands like skip/play/pause or dictate text/email. The even hub seemed like a good idea until everything was fire walled. As for the hardware I find the glasses quite heavy and uncomfortable. The ring and commands are very finicky. And the data collected by the ring is delayed and unreliable. These are also very water sensitive. DO NOT WASH THE LENSES. They are two panes with an air gap in between where water will wick up into. Honestly seems like a poor design choice. It’s cutting edge tech so it’s expensive. If you can, wait until the next iteration. You’ll get a much better product for the money you spend.
