Hampton James Terry Bubble - Scalloped Light Pink

Muted thread color and puckering

I was so excited to receive my first Hampton James order in the mail. When I opened my light pink scalloped terry bubble, I was instantly a little disappointed. The “hot pink” thread color didn’t stand out like it had in the examples I viewed online and instead it seemed darker. I understand that lighting can probably make it look different than in real life. The other thing that stood out was the puckering all around the embroidered name. I’ve had a lot of things embroidered from different places and have never experienced this. I wasn’t going to reach out and complain but since I received this email about writing a review, I figured I would be honest. All of the designs online are beautiful but I don’t think it’s worth the risk of being unhappy again.
