Lights Only Work When Pressing the Battery Compartment

At first, the lights would not turn on no matter how I toggled the two switches. I even replaced the batteries, but that did not help. Later, I found that the lights would only come on if I pressed inward on the battery compartment, and sometimes I even had to tap or hit the book lightly to get them to work. It seems there may be a loose connection or a contact issue in the battery compartment.

I love it. My child is still a little young to understand the concept but she treats it like a puzzle book. She loves it. My nephews who the books are probably more age appropriate for loved them as well. They are recreating examples of wedges, and pulleys. My family is asking where I got it and how much it is. I think price was probably the only concern.

Super interesting

2-year-old cousin loved it, and even I learned a thing or two about computer engineering!! I was worried it might be a little old for him, but I think he’ll continue to get a lot out of it as he understands more in that 5/6-year-old range.
