Really solid build, nice esthetics and great sound
I was one of the original backers and I got the plastic version initially. I liked the high profile aluminum version, so I ordered that one too. I did not expect to like it this much, it is really great! I think the sound is better, it looks better and it feels much more premium. One thing to note is that the HP version is very heavy, initially I did not pay attention to this detail, but I think this is not very portable, so I would stick with the plastic case version for portability. Also, I would appreciate a pouch / carrying case for both of them, particularly the plastic version.

New Daily Driver - Amazing Keyboard
The WhiteFox Eclipse is a substantial keyboard. Easily the heaviest and most dense board in my collection (and I have some custom made keyboards with brass plates/ weights). In the last few weeks, the WhiteFox has easily become my favorite keyboard and my new daily driver. Stock switches, caps, and stabilizers are fantastic and I haven't felt the need to swap them at all. Typing is a dream with the combination of gasket mounting and the slight flex of the plate. I was worried initially that the flex would be too much for gaming, but thankfully I haven't noticed any issues at all during intense sessions. Even after breaking in, the yellow switches have a nice balanced spring, and I'm someone who types heavily for work and also spends many off-hours playing pvp pc games on this keyboard. I've put this board through its paces and it's excelled with flying colors. Speaking of colors, the lighting options make this board look fantastic on my desk. The white on blue colorway (I went for the blue esc and arrow key accents) is professionally clean and fits into my setup nicely. I went for a static gradient (which has options to adjust the range of colors as well) and it looks fantastic. QMK/VIA programming is very easy with the VIA browser app. Just open the website in Chrome, allow it to detect your keyboard in the browser, and you can change layout and lighting real time to the board without any software or flashing. It saves to the board independent of the computer, so using this keyboard to swap between bluetooth devices (really nice to be able to swap to my android phone and back) keeps your layout between all of them. Overall, this board both initially out of the box and after heavy use is a beast of a keyboard. I will continue to use this as my daily driver for quite some time, and if they support this product with aftermarket swappable parts (which is very simple with its magnetic assembly) I'll be lining up for some accessories and alternative cases.

Great Keyboard
Love this keyboard. It's pretty much a staple pre-built that sits on my desk constantly. The price is a bit much, but you can tell it' went into the build. The weight alone of this keyboard is crazy! Great job Apos. Love it.
