Have fished my home lake for 55 years and would not have believed this would work as great as it does. The larger fish the first afternoon I used it acted like they had never seen a lure, on a heavy pressured lake. I’ll admit I didn’t land them but I had 4 major hits from large fish on a lake not known for large fish. The planets all aligned as a strong front was arriving during the pre spawn which assisted in the fish being very active. I have enjoyed the excitement and anticipation of using it for the last month and look forward to landing my first biggun with it.

Great Glide

I have thrown the Berkley Chop Block for a couple weeks now. It is a tremendous bait to draw fish and catch fish. The action is awesome and really works as good as baits costing 10 X what the Chop Block does. I really recommend this bait to anyone who likes throwing a big glide bait.

Chop Block

I’ve started throwing the Chop Block in saltwater for speckled trout. It gets crushed. 5 stars for that. But 4 out of 5 for the hook harness. Out of the package, the clip for the front hook is too tight, requiring too much force for it to break free during the fight. Lost two monster trout from this. Modified it by widening the clip a little, and the results have been perfect.
