A fast quiet grinder with a couple rough edges

Super happy with this grinder. Coming from a 15 year old Baratza Solis Encore. The Ode is way faster, much quieter, and produces less fines. Slight quibbles, the assembly QA isn't great. the spring ptale that holds the faceplate on didn't function properly, so that had to be replaced on warranty. THe faceplate rattled, it should have been caught in assembly QA. Fellow customer service was easy to deal with, but I'm still waiting for the new spring plate. The catchment cup is annoying, fidly, and really not inline with the rest of the smart design and build, but we've learned to deal with it. I'd buy it again - turns out some great aeropress coffee.

First week of using the grinder and very impressive. Like the compact size, is quiet as advertised, looks good and most important does a great grind.
