I’ve never bought a laser level to level a yard and I also didn’t want to spend $1000 to do it. I bought this level with the tripod and the receiver and it is a thing of beauty! The lines are bright inside a house however outside it could be tough to see. That’s why I bought the receiver to go with it and the sound verification makes leveling slopes outside easy.

Not compatible with tripod and pole

It can be attached to the pole but will not be adjustable. I'm not sure what attachment is compatible with the ridges at the back of the laser level
