The Foundation
The Trofie pasta was the foundation of a lite veggie pasta. . . A supporting component but not the main character. The staff had recommended a Pesto with this pasta, which I will try. However my dish consisted of lightly sauté garlic, shallot with shiitake mushrooms, red pepper, zucchini and a yellow crooked neck squash. So good, I have all veggies in refer at the ready and of course pasta in the pantry!!
