Sharpening stone L with leather holster

I need to know how to use it. Is it a water soaker or an oil stone or neither?

I’m having a problem trying to figure out if it’s a stone that needs to be water, wet or oil or neither.

This stone is very nice better than expected with the leather case to keep it in makes a nice combo to keep it safe. I would buy again but wont need to ever, have already used it on my Kletten pocket knife and worked great.

A very nice stone

Wonderful looking stone, but more importantly I sharpened a few knives on it and they came out sharp. I especially like the size of it for the larger knives.
