What service and what product!!

4 days after placing my order, I received it. What? Yes 4 days too South Africa. I could not believe that i received it so quick. The product for me was a bit pricey but worth every penny. Peace of mind for me and wife. We always had to be carefull when opening the door. It works great and would recommend it. No more worries when leaving the Jimny at a carwash. The quality is beyond expectation.

I originally had the 105º strut at 280 PSI before upgrading to the TANIGUCHI Friction Strut. At first, I thought the price was on the higher side — but once I had it in hand, I realised the quality absolutely justifies the cost. Installation was simple, taking less than two minutes to swap over. Once fitted, it performed exactly as I’d hoped. The door now stops wherever I want it to, giving me peace of mind — especially since I recently installed a ladder that clears the panel by only 3mm. Despite offering a nice wide opening angle, the TANIGUCHI strut holds firm and prevents any risk of the door or ladder hitting the panel. The operating pressure is spot-on, even with a larger rim and tyre combo, a 10L jerry can, and the ladder fitted. It even holds well on slight inclines. I’m extremely happy with this purchase and honestly wonder why I hesitated for so long. Ordering was hassle-free, and shipping from Japan to Australia only took four days. 10/10 — highly recommended.
