Handle requires getting used to

Purchased this for daily brushing of my 26 lb doodle with a dense curly coat. Replaced my Chris Christensen Coral that wore down after a couple of years because of the more reasonable price point. The shape of the handle is giving me a blister but I think over time I will find a more comfortable grip (or will adapt to the shape).
