Taking ages for the horrid plast tast to go

Not actually used yet due to struggling to get rid of the horrid rubber/plastic taste. I've soaked & flushed it through with steredent & litres of fresh water but still tastes horrid. Fingers to try grest squeezed lemon juice & water next.
