The Timex E-Line Automatic hits the sweet spot between vintage 1970s/80s luxury sports watch styling and dependable everyday mechanical design. The brushed gold-tone TV bezel frames the horizontally grooved silver dial beautifully, catching natural light from every angle without ever coming off as gaudy. With its integrated two-tone bracelet, substantial stainless steel case finishing, and exhibition case back showcasing the automatic movement, the watch looks and wears like an iconic piece worth several times its price tag. Between the comfortable wrist presence, quick-set date function, and 50-meter water resistance, it is a stunning grab-and-go retro timepiece that elevates casual and dressed-up outfits alike.

A well made piece of nostalgia. Not sure how they can produce a watch of this quality at this price point. Brings me back to watch I loved in the 70s!

This one punches way above its price. The two-tone E-Line has a great vintage 1970s/80s integrated-bracelet look without feeling like it’s trying to imitate a much more expensive watch. The brushed steel, gold-tone accents and textured silver dial work extremely well together, and the 38mm case wears beautifully on the wrist.
The automatic movement and exhibition caseback are nice touches at this price, but the design is really what sold me. It has enough presence to get noticed without being loud, and the two-tone combination makes it surprisingly versatile.
At $399, this is exactly what I want from Timex…something fun, distinctive and well executed that looks considerably more expensive than it is. Easily one of my favorite recent Timex releases. 5/5.
