A Simple Hydration Bladder Alternative With Minor Drawbacks
I purchased the Pulse Hydration drinking system to turn the Smart Water bottles I already use for hiking into a hydration setup without needing a traditional bladder. In that respect, it does exactly what I hoped it would do. It delivers water conveniently when I need it, and I genuinely appreciate the simplicity of the product.
I was a little confused by the offer when I ordered, because I believed I would receive a second unit as part of the promotion available at that time. Even without the second one, I still think the product was a good value, but the way the offer was presented felt somewhat misleading.
I had also read reviews mentioning leaks, so I planned for that by placing the bottle in a plastic bag to keep any moisture from soaking the inside of my pack. So far, I have experienced only a very small amount of leakage, well under an ounce. Based on the materials, construction, and how the system works, I think some minor leaking may simply be a limitation of the design. For me, that is acceptable, though I would like to see future versions better seal the likely leak points or include some built-in way to contain any moisture.
Overall, I feel that I received what I paid for, and I am happy with the product. I would recommend it to hikers looking for a simple bottle-based alternative to a hydration bladder, as long as they are comfortable with the possibility of minor leaking. The benefits outweigh that drawback for me.

Good concept, love the flexibility
This is a fairly simple concept, and it is well executed as long as you understand the limitations. It only works for bottle tops, or at least the dimensions of a disposable bottle. They may have adapters for other containers, I don't know and I am not using them ifnthey do.
The hose is a bit long. I wish it came with either an attachment to pin it to my pack better. I don't want to cut the hose because as soon as I do, life will deliver me a situation where I wish it was longer. I may just figure out a way to jury-rig it.
If you are looking for something to go with just a portable bottle and not a full-blown rubber bladder, this is a very good solution, and I recommend it.

Description and Followup fail
After receiving the product I contacted them because the description led me to believe I would receive something useable with a large mouth container. They apologized and said to send my order # and they would send that. I did so and nothing further happened.
