Cheap, simple and hugely effective. Foam is solid and durable and holds large and small ship models in a number of positions without putting any strain/load on the model. Currently holding HMS Vanguard 1787 (1:72) - 105cm long/ 19cm wide hull. Would recommend.

This thing works.

It holds the model gently but securely. It won’t slip around I’m pleased.
