Ordered this item to repair a rough running engine, can't say much as I have not recieved it yet. Will update when I can.

Good motor

Good little motor, to bad it's to big for my needs, but I'll use it for something someday. Wish they could source smaller motors for N-Scale trains.

Micromark 2430 motor

I replaced a Blue Box Athern motor with the 2430. It has plenty of torque plus runs quietly. The motor will also fit in a narrow shell. Much of my motive power fleet dates back to the seventies and most run very well. I decided to purchase more of these motors if I need to remoter more units and the price is very reasonable.
