KNODOS Bottomless Portafilter | Rosewood / Walnut / Maple

Works beautifully, and feels very solid. It is a little too easy to unscrew the metal and wood parts, though this is probably better for it's longevity than if they relied on glue, especially since the metal will be heating up and cooling down frequently. Also, since the round handle sits lower than anything else, it can be tricky to hold it flat to fill/distribute/tamp, but this is a very minor issue, and not really an issue with this portafilter but rather with the general principle of a bottomless portafilter. Overall, I'm very happy with it.

Had an issue with the wrong size being sent. The handle has a more mate finish than pictured, but looks really well made and the included double basket has a better feel than the one included with my Sage machine. A bit odd to include pictures of the funnel and puck screen when they’re not actually included. Overall satisfied. I don’t mind paying more to support independent shops, but I feel experience could have been better.
