Editor's Desk with Pad

Useful but disappointing quality

For functionality the editor's desk is nice, but I own an older version of this and it is better on many levels. It's bigger and is both collapsible (made with hinges) and adjustable (height). It was also already put together. While this version still seems useful, Levenger seems to have cheaped out on production costs by manufacturing it in pieces and having the buyer put it together but not ensuring we have all the pieces we need. One of the other circular pieces that keeps the pieces together keeps falling out despite rescrewing tightly. Of course the price has only increased. Levenger, you're not IKEA, disappointed in the quality.

I love it! It’s beautiful, and I’ve been careful to remove everything when I’m not using it. That’s because the color darkens in the first 2 weeks and I want that to happen evenly. I love how it has the notch in the back where I put my calendar, and in the open space under it, I’ve put a catch box for paper clips and pens and such. The only one who doesn’t like it is my cat because it takes up space she used to lie on, but she’s figured out new places.

Great addition

Exactly what I wanted. I can place my iPad with text on the upper shelf and a notebook below to take notes. Or use to read a large art book or atlas. Very solid construction and easy to assemble.
