Great product, check dimensions carefully

This is a very useful, well-made product and of course Nature Niche got it to me quickly... 5 stars! It's important to note that the interior dimensions of the socket (as measured with a digital caliper) are 3.5" x 3.5". Pay close attention to the true dimension of the "4x4" post you plan to use. They can vary quite a bit by manufacturer and level of finishing. Anything larger than 3.5" will require you to remove some material to make it fit, up to the socket height of 5".
