The crates are awesome, very sturdy construction. The latches lock in well and are tight. Definitely plan on getting some more!

Rigid and versatile

I purchased the Wrangler Standard Package; and ordered 4 additional lids, to store items from my machine shop for a recent move. These are not flimsy crates, yet are sturdier than normal milk crates. I like their size, inside and out, and their internal volume. They fold open and close very easily. The locking mechanism is easy to use and locks securely. The lids are a nice addition to keep items from falling out or keep things a little drier. The lids fit very well to the dimensions of the crate, but they can slide off since they do not lock in place. The T48's are definitely more expensive than cardboard boxes, cheap plastic containers, tubs, milk crates and almost any other container. That said cardboard cannot hold weight and disintegrates when wet, plastic tubs and containers are bulky, awkward, bend easily and break after a few uses. Are the T48's over engineered, yes? And they are that much better and worth it. I am keeping them forever, will not let anyone borrow them but will tell everyone about them.
