Hops, Hikes & History

Such a nice surprise!

We did the hops, hikes and history tour and it was so much fun! My husband begrudgingly came along for something I wanted to do, but he thoroughly enjoyed himself, as did our dog! We chose to spread it out over 2 days instead of 1, and the suggested accommodations were so charming! I've been telling everyone about our trip!

We had a fun day, exploring this experience. Without giving anything away, we tried a few breweries, the hike at stop 2, and on stop 3 check out the park and beyond. The view is amazing. We were hungry between stop 1 & 2 and detoured to a small town for the most amazing sandwiches. We'd go back. I won't tell you the town, but I will tell you the restaurant name so you can google after stop 1 (Sugar Maple Restaurant). Overall a great trip. We're from West GTA and we took about 11 hours round trip. We spent about 2 hours at stop 1 and could have spent more time. Lots of things to do here, especially in summer.

Loved all the stops. Our favourite stop was Maelstrom Winery. Lovely staff and wonderful gazebo beside the vines. Definitely looking forward to more exciting mystery road trips.
