St. Francis of Assisi Garden Statue

Lovely

This was a gift for a neighbor's garden to thank them for their many kindnesses. St. Francis is very special for them and they were extremely pleased with it. So was i. It is truly lovely. Too many St. Francis statues are overly sentimental and artless. This one has character and grace. It conveys the saint's legendary compassion with beautifully formed, slender and flowing lines. We all love it.
