I soak this towel in hot water and put it on my face for a few minutes before I shave, whether I shower 1st or not. Because even if I shower 1st, there’s still a bit of time before I lather up, especially if I’m lathering in a bowl, and I want to get my face as warm and the stubble as soft as possible before I apply the lather.
