Walk the Dogs

So many little dogs, such big fun!

I bought this for a friend’s 3 year old before I realized it was recommended for ages 8 and up. I also bought one for my family. My players enjoyed the game. It’s easy to learn and quick to play, so great for playing when you don’t have hours for gaming time. And I can report that my 3-year-old friend loved it. Even without the nuances of strategy, the instructions and cards are easy to follow. I highly recommend this game!

Broad age range

I had a kindergartner come for tutoring who was very upset about his mother leaving him. He was in a corner sobbing. I asked him if he liked dogs. Soon, we were at the table playing Walk the Dogs (minus the three special cards). We played two games, one with another student who asked if he could join in. Then we said we could not play again because it was time to go home. He said, “Already?”
