Just what I needed

This console tray fits my Gen2 R1T perfectly. I can remove it when needed and the cutout is perfect for cords that need to pass thru. I am so glad I no longer have to fumble in the bottom for sunglasses or hand lotion (perfect application while the car drives).

So far so good.

Overall has a very OEM feel with the matching wood and it installs easily. As others have mentioned, the edges are sharp but I’m not really sticking my fingers deep into the slot with the sharp edges so it doesn’t bother me. I do wish it was more secure in that space…it literally just rests there and can pull up a tiny bit if the phone is sticking on the charging pad. Maybe some thin double sided tape. I kept the box in case I wanted to return it, but after a few days of use, it’s a keeper, hence the 5 stars despite my one gripe above.
