1970-1974 Corvette Seat Foam

C3 Corvette seat fabric and seat foam install

This is my first seat cover refresh. All and all it went well. 1. Corvette America, YouTube video for C3, 1970-1975 seat cover installation was a HUGH help! They may it look so easy. I had more of a struggle with your kit. 2.Having the "S" clips and wires already in the fabric was a big help. However install wires for the seat back material were inches away from where they needed to be in relation to the foam depressions. 3. Numerous large voids in the seat back foam. 4.Why is the foam so unnecessarily larger than it needs to be? Required two people, talcum powder and a heat gun to install the seat covers over the foam. 5. Due to the foam being so full body some of the "S" clips were bent while trying to make connection. I did purchase a installation kit that included these extra items I needed and it included the "hook tool". 6. The single wall corrugated box the items shipped in was barely adequate. I was alarmed at the outward appearance of this box, it was pretty beat up. I checked the contents immediately for damage. Luckily, all look right before installation and the finished product didn't show any shipping damage.

Looks great, can't wait to get it installed!
