Excellent pair but tight on the waist

I am normally a 36-34 sized waist in pants. However, these felt tight in that size so I sized up to a 38. Yes it’s looser and I have to use a belt but the 36 feels way too tight. Aside from the sizing issues, these pants are amazing. They break in really well and are up for whatever you throw at them.

Very awkward cut

I got these pants for my husband who usually wears a 34X34. I got his usually size but the waiste was way too tight, then length was too long but the crotch was also too short so that he couldn't pull them up properly. Also the fabric was strange; not denim but not chino, somewhere in between.
