Checked & Compared / Still Seems Different from Pictured
At the company's request, I've updated my original review. Please see the photo below featuring the vine in the box. This was my order and I originally thought it looked smaller and thinner than what was pictured on the website. I didn't inquire because Twigs has a policy stating one has only 48 hours to contact if an item is damaged. They do not offer returns or exchanges as all sales are final. This is a made to order item and for these - the policy states, "Custom orders are absolutely final sale. No exceptions." But my vine just didn't appear the same as pictured. See photos on the website and the one I've shared from their instagram. Mine just didn't resemble either. After days of contemplating, I finally reached out and was pleased that the company agreed to recheck the vine. Twigs & Honey was very receptive and actually agreed to compare it to their original. Before sending it back, they warned of an additional cost if I wanted it enlarged. If my vine was over 10% different than theirs pictured, they would make the correction and enlarge it for me at no additional cost. But if my vine was less than 10% different, then I could request an enlargement at an additional fee. I agreed to this, thinking it a fair deal. But after sending the product back, I received word from Twigs confirming that my vine was bigger compared to their original. If I still wanted enlarged flower pieces, the fee was apparently $100/hr of labor. I've already spent $450 (10% off as a new subscriber). I had no clue how many hours it would take them to enlarge the vine. And, given how I was reminded of fees every step of the way to have the vine checked (shipping costs there and back + $100/hr of labor), I was not comfortable agreeing to that. I would have preferred a flat rate as a per hour fee could rank up to any price - while I would have had no clue how long it actually did take to modify. I rate three stars because of the experience. I still don't feel that my vine looks the same in the photos. Even the photo I've shared taken from their instagram looks different from mine in the box. I don't know if the website or instagram photos were airbrushed, enlarged or if they've made more than one vine model for display and chose a smaller one to compare with mine...They sent me photos and a video comparing both vines, but I am still not convinced my vine was made with the same detail as the one pictured. Twigs & Honey appears to have nice products - as I had also ordered veil. And, they are nice and receptive but not accommodating in any way. There was no offer for compensation nor were my shipping costs waived. Instead, as I spent money on an expensive product, I was reminded every step of the way to pay for additional costs. The policy itself is very harsh - 'all sales final, no exceptions.' I knew this upon originally ordering but upon the belief that their products were honestly advertised. I'm not satisfied but this is also the risk you take when you order by such a strict NO RETURN policy. Purchase at your own discretion.
