Working Well So Far!

We have only had this unit running for a few days, but so far we are very impressed!! Upon start up, on a bit of a cool 20 degree day, it took the pool from 21 to 28 degrees in about 10 hours. Every day since we turn the pump off over night and starting back up at 10am. By time we are ready to swim in the afternoon, the heater has the pool at our target temp of 28, quickly making up any night time heat loss (yes we have a solar blanket we put on when not in use). I am curious how it will do once we get a cool rainy stretch and it truly gets put to to the test, but that hasn't happened yet. I will update if anything changes, but so far very happy with our purchase!! FYI - we have an 18' x 48" round soft sided above ground pool.

New pool heater

Living 2.5hrs north of North Bay I needed something to heat my pool. In 24hrs my pool went from 72 to 84. Needed help with installation and got help on the phone in no time. Very happy

Great heat pump for above ground pool

We opened our pool this season only to find our resistive element (electric) heater had died. This heat pump seems to be a great replacement! This week with high 20 low 30c temps it’s had no problems maintaining a 27c water temp. Even on nights where it got down pretty cool (10-14c) it only dropped a few degrees and able to warm back up as the air temp regained. Haven’t had for a full month yet so haven’t seen the electric bill impact but based off the specs it seems like a big win there over what we had before!
