Nitya Lantern-Shaped Midi Dress - Plum/Multi

This is a very nice dress. The cotton fabric is great --- not so light that it would be sheer, but not so thick that it would get hot. The hem is interesting. When I ordered it I thought I would just hem it up in a normal hem, but when I tried it on I really liked the gathers at the sides. I have worn it for every day, and I have also worn it dressed up with a nice necklace and high heel sandals.

Best Dress

I have tried many dresses and had to send them back mostly due to fit (I'm 5'2''). This one fits around my torso in a flattering way and is the length I need. If you are short like me, this may be the dress for you.

This dress is truly lovely. The fit is great, pockets are as they should be and the length is perfect. The only change I would make is adding a couple of inches to the sleeve length. The shape of the skirt is flattering and the neckline is not too low. I do hope you make a few other dresses with this pattern.
