I’m a blacksmith. A couple years ago I was looking for a 2X72 belt grinder. But didn’t want to pay $2-3K for something I didn’t even know tracked or not. After reading reviews for 9months Found the 2X48” on Alec Steele’s site. Took the plunge, and haven’t looked back. I have produced hundreds if not thousands of pieces since I made my purchase. Everything from high end, hand forged knives to small hooks. My shop is not temperature controlled. The grinder and the variable speed drive has lasted through 8 seasons of use. Your unit has worked in extreme heat to extreme colds well below freezing. It was only recently I noticed a minor tracking issue. The gas cylinder on the belt guide was starting to lose tension. I went to your site, picked up a new one. The order was at my shop very quickly though it shipped from Australia. Installed it, and it fixed my tracking issues. I will be ordering directly from 84engineering from now on. Very happy with the products I have used so far. And will continue to promote and use your products. Thank you very much.
