Smooth and solid upgrade

Super easy to install, and you feel the difference immediately. Pretty simple. At first I thought mine was defective because my stick wasn't returning to center, but turns out when I snapped it into the module, the bowl got pushed up slightly in the casing causing contact with the gear arms. I just had to push it back in, easy. Very happy

The metal bowl is noticeably much smoother than the original plastic parts they replace. I tested the range of motion of the joystick with the debug menu on smash remix on a nintendo64 console and the replacement bowl is perfect.

Anyone looking for these knows how difficult it has been to find steel bowls over the years. To have them consistently available in this quality is an absolute game-changer for N64 lovers.
