expedited shipping not worth it

I really wanted to love this rod, but I haven’t even had the chance to fish it yet because of the shipping issues. I paid extra for the guaranteed expedited shipping since I needed the rod as soon as possible. I ordered on a Friday expecting it to ship on Monday, but it’s now been over a week with no meaningful tracking updates after USPS accepted the package. I’ve also been unable to get a response from Tackle Industries about the delay. I’m sure the rod itself is great, but the shipping experience and lack of communication have been very disappointing, especially after paying extra for faster delivery.

Love the split grip 9' XXH rods. Would buy a 9'6" if it was available in split grip.
