MOST DEFINITELY NOT FOR A BEGINNER
My understanding of this kit was it was for a beginner. Not so much. I have sat with the video no less than 12 times and for the life of me, I'm stuck on step 3, connecting the chains to create a circle. The video does not show clear enough where within the slipnot to put the hook. And even after you do think you have the right spot, there is no way you're going to get 8 more stiches through it. I guess I'll be making a macrame plant hanger with the cord.

Good for learning
This was great to learn how to make baskets. Instructions were easy to follow and help was available. My only complaint would be my basket isn’t flat on the bottom so it looks crooked. Maybe more practice will help. Overall, I’m glad I bought it to start with.

Cute little basket
Had fun making the basket. A bit challenging with the stiff rope but doable. My came out smaller as I was only able to do two and half around. Still a nice addition to my desk. Highly recommend.
