My dad’s elderly dachshund lost his ability to walk due to IVDD. This harness has made it so my dad can care for his dog. This has helped him tremendously. My dad has mobility issues and it is hard for him to bend/squat to the ground multiple times to pick his dog up (with proper support) out of his pen to take him in and out. The handles on the harness have made it so he can get him in out safely. Patches does not mind the harness at all. He spends the day in and it comes off at night. My dad also uses the loop handle to support back Patches back end while walking. Patches can still use one of his legs some. I definitely recommend this.
