Great model of a classic firearm!
The GP5 is a particularly well executed model of a classic fire arm of historical importance. I think it is great just as it is, and plan to just add a black sling. I am so glad this was made available, and thaI pre-ordered. I would love to see other models of iconic firearms important in the development or arms. I would suggest an M1 Carbine from WW II.

Nice model, rushed production
I understand and can respect GoatGuns trying to expand their selection quickly; however I will say this one was rushed.
First off, I do like it for the most part. For display it’s nicely detailed and is a nice addition to my collection.
But upon closer inspection you will find the rear sight aperture is glued in place, on mine it’s not even aligned with the front sight, it’s turned 45° off with no way to adjust it.
They did demonstrate that some models may chamber/eject rounds, and it varies by production. Mine does not fyi. This isn’t a dealbreaker, I have a couple models that don’t have that feature and it’s perfectly okay.
Finally, they reintroduced a feature I hate: pull trigger to release bolt. They first introduced this in the skeleton AR, which caused me to all but bury it away from my collection because it completely breaks the immersion. Dear GoatGuns, I’m once again asking you discontinue this stupid feature and return to the trigger being non-functional. This is especially frustrating due to the MP5 being known for the “slap” which isn’t nearly as satisfying when the bolt is still open.

What the people have been asking for!
The fact that a new model that has never been released before was able to bring a lot of the community together was awesome on its own, let alone the introduction of a legend like the GP5 (MP5)
