Errors and Missing Steps in Pattern

Trying to crochet the gift card holder from the written pattern I purchased was very frustrating because of error and multiple missing steps in the pattern. I was only able to figure out that multiple steps were missing in the pattern after watching the video link provided in the pattern. I purchased the written pattern purposefully to avoid watching videos. The errors and missing information found in the pattern were as follows: Page 5, Round 2 - last step before joining to the top of the chain should be ‘Into the space where you started, make 3 DOUBLE crochet NOT 3 treble crochet Page 6, Round 3 - Before the last paragraph MISSING ‘Make 3 double crochet into side space’ before getting back to where you began. Page 7, Round 4 - MISSING ‘Make 3 double crochet into the next two spaces along the side’ before the step Into the space where we started, make 3 treble crochet. Page 8, Round 5 - there is a typo in the 2nd to last step - tow should be ‘toe’ In Ravelry, I found where a person had previously written in the Comments section of the pattern about missing information. The comment was written 13 months ago but I mistakenly assumed that the pattern had been corrected. Hopefully, now the pattern will be corrected & updated in Ravelry

Christmas stocking

I used to make lots of these for my son and nephews teachers every year at Christmas, also neighbors and coworkers. I just loved to make them. My mom taught me to crochet and over the years I’ve lost her pattern. Your pattern is perfect. I love it. Very easy to work up and I’m so glad I found it. Thank you.
