This 1964 Chevrolet Hood Latch Striker Catch is a reproduction of the original GM part. The hood latch bracket comes with the pin which secures the hood to the front clip.

All of the threads had to be tapped so the striker would screw into the plate and the nut. The quality control on this part was not very good. The made body of the latch that bolts to the hood look good.
