Thankful Dog Dad
As a dog owner who loves taking my pup on active outdoor adventures, finding good paw protection that actually stays on has always been a challenge. The CLAWGS rubber dog boots & the Kickstarter who created them have been communicative and ready to make sure our pups are good to go all throughout the campaign AND after it!

Comfortable alternative. Would buy again!
They're perfect for the hot, humid climate in NC, and our dog seems to find them more comfortable than boots. We started with just four shoes for our dog who needs traction, but I DO recommend them, and I plan to buy our other dogs their own Clawgs for weather/pavement safety.
Notes:
1. Our dog will tolerate very thorough paw handling. He has very arched toes and large feet with tiny pasterns/hocks, so I can't take them off with just the clip and have to unvelcro the shoe completely, then revelcro all straps, no easy slip on option for us!
2. They are super fiddly, with a learning curve. I made probably 10x adjustments to the ankle strap and toe cinch before I found *HIS* fit on each shoe, without anything poking out or sliding around. On the up side, now that they are fitted, they don't twist/rub/fall off or squeeze his toes, which is the issue I had with every shoe we've ever used.
3. Mind your terrain. Stabby things like thorns do go in the sides where the shoe is designed to be a looser fit and is open, unlike a boot.
For what I wanted, which is comfortable, non slip, low profile, and well ventilated, they are an awesome shoe!

Great design. The Clawgs were easy to put and take off. My dog didn't have any trouble walking with them. I'm glad I found these shoes for my dog!!
