What do you think about Selkirk Pro S1 Outdoor Ball?

Here is my review. Let me start with the improvement suggestions. I would have given it 5 stars if the green color was more florescent green like Franklin X5s. Selkirk Pro S1 is a little duller and darker green which makes it harder for the eyes to track. It is a harder ball in comparison to the Franklin X5. But I do understand that it is needed in order to be more durable than most balls out there. Now for the positives. Being a Pro and a coach, it is my go to ball because it is very durable and it removes the constant issue of breakage. No breaking anxiety with these balls. QC is very good and very rare do I see any of these balls go out of round. I don't have to carry tons of balls and replace tons of balls very often. That's a huge plus for me. Another point to bring to attention is , being a harder ball, the game becomes quicker and the feel of the ball on the paddles becomes livelier. So this is very dependent on the players preferences. Some people like softer balls to slow down the game and some prefer faster games. Overall, it is worth the value proposition for those who don't want to deal with balls frequently breaking/cracking and that's why its the main ball i buy and use and recommend players.
