King of Battle!

I recently bought two King of Battle wall tapestries for my best friend (my brother) who just got out of the Marines. That was his MOS, and his time in meant everything to him. I gave them to him for Christmas. He’d been going through a really dark season in his life, and as Doc (Corpsman), I just knew I had to do something to remind him of who he is and what he’s overcome. I wanted him to feel seen, respected, and proud again. I surprised him by redecorating his computer room. I built a homemade shadow box and put together a small, almost manorial-style corner dedicated to his time in service. When I hung the flags up, it brought everything together perfectly. It felt like we’d carved out a space that honored his story. Thank you for creating something that helped me lift up someone I care about so deeply. It truly meant more than I can say. I’ll definitely be back for more.
