Elegant Timepiece with a Minor Flaw

The watch is truly impressive – the build quality is excellent, and the design is both elegant and modern. The case and dial look stunning, and the overall craftsmanship gives the feel of a premium product. The movement works flawlessly, making it a reliable piece for everyday wear. However, there is one drawback: the bracelet. While it matches the watch visually, in daily use it can be problematic. It sometimes feels stiff, and the clasp doesn’t always provide the level of security you’d expect from a watch in this class. It’s a small detail, but it slightly affects the overall experience. In summary, this watch delivers outstanding quality and looks, but the bracelet could definitely be improved for better comfort and usability.

I have had the Østersøen Havblå for several months now, and it continues to grow on me. The combination of size and finish, fit and comfort, and the supremely legible dial combine to make a superb watch. I have worn it both in the bracelet and a black FKM rubber strap, and it looks great and wears supremely well with both options. A go-to favorite in my collection!

Superb quality watch from NMI. The strap is especially good with micro adjustment if needed. The watch came in a lovely cork presentation box with a strap link adjustment tool included. There is one gripe however...The delivery charge was £88 via DHL. This literally wiped out the £100 off the watch at pre-order but it's out with NMI's control.
